Tour: Casa Antigua. Its architecture and history are explained and visitors enjoy its ambiance, as well as the display of traditional clothing pertaining to the cacao hacienda and the region. Casa Chontal: You can observe how the cacao hacienda worker's family lived in the past, with utensils, clothing, their kitchen, and their traditional altar, among other things. Hiking: In this walk, you observe how the cacao trees are distributed and which provide shade, as well as sightings of the varied fauna inhabiting the plantation. Cacao Plantations: It is a direct encounter with one of Mexico's oldest crops and most valued worldwide. A trek through the plantation reveals harvest periods, cultivation processes, biological characteristics, varieties, and interesting details about their care and use. Exhibition of Pre-Hispanic Utensils and Tools: This tour takes place inside one of the barns where cacao fermentation occurs and the chocolate-making process begins. Workers are present inside the same barn, allowing visitors to learn the history of cacao and chocolate and their transformation processes at the moment of the visit. Chocolate Factory: Visitors learn the full artisanal chocolate-making process using traditional Tabasqueño recipes; they also learn how to make chocolate with modern European techniques and, with a little luck, they can taste chocolate during production.
