Cuenta con seis salas interactivas, las cuales están nombradas en totonaco: Kaniwá, significa en todas partes y representa a la sala de transporte.
Sala 1.- “Talakawasa” es la sala de tecnología donde se muestra los nuevos desarrollos para crear, diseñar y construir
Sala 2.- “Katso”, significa saber, y es el nombre de la sala de ciencia, en ella, se puede experimentar los diversos fenómenos físicos y jugar con algunos conceptos de las matemáticas
Sala 3.- “Maxqaqena”, es la sala dedicada al estudio de la luz y en ella se puede estudiar acerca de fenómenos como la corriente eléctrica
Sala 4.- “Skatan”, nombre de la sala de desarrollo infantil que significa niños, la sala está dedicada a los visitantes de entre 3 meses y 6 años de edad, es un espacio para el juego con el objetivo de apoyar el desarrollo integral de sus usuarios
Sala 5.- “Matatena” es un espacio que simula un patio de vecindad y feria de pueblo mexicano, en el cual, a través de juegos y talleres los visitantes conocen como las formas de jugar cambian con el paso del tiempo
Sala 6.- La sala Ciudades se compone de cinco áreas: ¿Qué es una ciudad?, La ciudad y su gente, Ciudad que cambia, Ciudad sostenible y Ciudad inteligente
