Kaná features six interactive rooms named in Totonaco: Kaniwá meaning 'everywhere' and representing the transport room; Talakawasa is the technology room showing new developments to create, design and build; Katso, meaning 'to know', is the science room where visitors can experience various physical phenomena and explore some mathematical concepts; Maxqaqena is the room dedicated to the study of light where phenomena such as electric current can be studied; Skatan, meaning 'children', is the children's development room for visitors aged 3 months to 6 years; it is a space for play to support overall development; Matatena is a space simulating a neighborhood courtyard and a Mexican village fair where through games and workshops visitors learn how play forms have changed over time. The CiudadEs room comprises five areas: What is a city? The city and its people, City that changes, City sustainable and City intelligent.
