It features display cases organized by cultural sequence: Prehistory, Formative, Teotihuacan Classic, Coyotlatelco Epiclassic, Early Postclassic Toltec, Late Postclassic Aztec. Complementing the information is a representative stone sculpture of the glyph of Xico, a model of a preclassic kitchen, a model of a pre-Hispanic granary, a display case of pre-Hispanic art objects including alabaster and onyx masks, a model of the former Xico estate, graphics, photographs, murals, and a temporary exhibition of ancient objects from the 20th century.
