El museo tiene cuatro salas:
1) Tratando de ubicar a nuestra comunidad desde el mesozoico, con fósiles representativos,antropozoico con fósiles también,con una pequeña descripción de los primeros grupos en Santa Bárbara.
2)Dedicada a la minerologĂa, se muestran piezas minerales, asĂ como fotos relacionadas con la actividad principal del pueblo.
3)Cultura minera, aprender lo básico en la explotación y extracción de los minerales, asà como a rendir homenaje a los mineros y gambusinos.
