Posee un acervo representativo de la plástica contemporánea de México, reúne y sirve como sede para las obras premiadas en el
Encuentro Nacional de Arte Joven.
Entre los principales artistas que han exhibido su obra destacan Luciano Spanó, José Castro Leñero, Aarón Cruz, John Hall y los artistas contemporáneos chilenos, Rosa Luz Marroquín, Omar Rayo y Derek Besant.
Cuenta con una sala permanente dedicada a la obra del artista jalisciense Enrique Guzmán Villagómez.

Cuenta con 3 salas de exposición temporal con 430 m2, la obra
de las salas es renovada cada seis meses, pues alberga exposiciones itinerantes, nacionales e internacionales del arte contemporáneo. En sus patios se realizan periódicamente conferencias, encuentros musicales, lecturas literarias y talleres.
