Permanent exhibits: The museum was installed in the picadero because it is a characteristic site of the Arma de Caballería and it houses 10 rooms that chronicle and exalt the importance of cavalry in the nation's historical events: Recepción: The history of the building that houses the museum is explained clearly and in detail; Sala de la Conquista, this period spans from 1519 to 1810, considered the beginning of cavalry as it is when the horse was brought to America by the Spaniards; The following rooms show the chronology of: Independencia 1810–1821; Intervenciones 1838–1867; Porfiriato 1877–1911; Revolución 1910–1914; Posrevolución 1914–1940; Caballería actual; Deporte ecuestre 1948–present; Banderas 1838–1867
