El museo cuenta con una sala de exhibición separada por diferentes procesos que a continuación
se describen:
1.- Exhibición de piezas arqueológicas encontradas en la región de Tulancingo, Huajomulco y Huapalcalco.
2.- Pared que representa de lo prehistórico a lo prehispánico en el cual relata los animales que existían en Tulancingo en esa época como valle de Tulancingo y el cráneo más antiguo que se encontró en la zona.
3.- Pared que explica de la época colonial a la pandemia, la construcción de la primera iglesia en Tulancingo descripción de personajes que nos visitaron como el Che Guevara, Agustín de Iturbide, Cantinflas, Raúl Castro, entre otros.
4.- Pared de personajes icónicos que nacieron en Tulancingo y han destacado en algo importante en el mundo, por ejemplo: Rodolfo Guzmán huerta, “El Santo” en la lucha libre y películas, Gabriel Vargas Bernal dibujante y cronista conocido mundialmente por la familia Burrón y el grupo RIO ROMA famosos intérpretes del género pop.
5.- Mamparas de todos los presidentes que hubo en Tulancingo iniciando con José Fernández
Mondoño hasta la presidenta actual Lorena García Cazares que como dato relevante es la primera
mujer en éste cargo.
