This museum was designed to pay homage to the Father of the Nation, located on the ground floor of the Government Palace, a short distance from the site where Don Miguel Hidalgo was shot at dawn on July 30, 1811. In this place today we find the Altar to the Fatherland. The Hidalgo Museum consists of two corridors through which, by means of dioramas and other audiovisual media, the visitor experiences the main historical events of our country.
