En la primera sala están expuestos cerca de 10 escritos oficiales que datan de las primeras décadas del siglo XX, versan sobre diversos asuntos de orden público, como recibos de pago, circulares y actas de matrimonio. Otra sala dedicada a las haciendas pulqueras, al proceso de elaboración de la bien llamada: bebida de los dioses, y por supuesto, a los documentos que constatan la administración de los negocios que la distribuían antiguamente.
Special Exhibitions
contiene una exposición temporal de obras de “Pancho Cárdenas”, un artista plástico mexicano capaz de transmitir con gran ingenio, tanto alegrías como frustraciones. En esta sala también es posible visualizar un conjunto de imágenes de petroglifos encontrados en una localidad del municipio, así como algunos vestigios arqueológicos y fotografías de Tlaxco, tomadas desde la parte más alta del parque natural del Rey.
