Cuenta con tres salas de exposiciones permanentes:
Sala Raúl A. Méndez Lugo de 32.66 m2. Cuenta con piezas encontradas en las tumbas de tiro, en las cuales nuestros antepasados enterraban a sus muertos.
Sala del Pintor Nayarita de 21.15 m2. Cuenta con una exposición permanente en la cual se exhiben diferentes obras de reconocidos pintores.
Sala de fotografía de 17.66 m2. Cuenta con una exhibición de fotografías en la cual la mayoría son de nuestro Ixtlán antiguo.
Cuenta con una sala de exposiciones temporales de 42.49 m2. Se realizan exposiciones temporales, reuniones, talleres y conferencias.
