Valle del Mezquital:
En esta sala descubrirás los aspectos naturales y culturales que caracterizan a esta región de Hidalgo, la cual ha sido hogar de la cultura Hñähñu desde tiempos prehispánicos.
La Colonia:
Ixmiquilpan es el ejemplo de la transformación que sucedió en esta región durante el periodo novohispano. A través de esta sala observaras piezas religión, construcciones religiosas y los oficios que ejercía la población durante esta época histórica.
Maíz y milpa:
La producción agrícola se basa en el ciclo anual del cultivo del maíz y otros vegetales, explora como este ciclo se relaciona con celebraciones y actividades de índole ritual de los pueblos de esta región.
Maguey y árbol de las maravillas:
Es la región del Valle del Mezquital el escenario natural en el que proliferan las plantas de maguey el cual ha sido aprovechado desde tiempos remotos por los pueblos que aquí habitan.
Arte de manos otomíes;
