Sala 1: Recorrido – The museum is devoted to the culture that gives it name, formed by groups such as the Tenek, Nahuas, Pames, Otomis and Tepehuas. It explains their worldview, production, trade, life cycles, oral tradition, and heritage. It has twelve permanent exhibition rooms: Vida; Fertilidad; Arte; Muerte; Vida Cotidiana; Cosmovisión; Cuerpo y Adorno; Trabajo; Intercambio; Espacio Sagrado; Mitología y Tradición Oral; Patrimonio Huasteco.
