Cuenta con cinco salas de exhibición permanentes:
Módulo I. Retrato(de 85 m²)
Se muestran fotografías de una o varias personas realizadas en diferentes circunstancias y para diversos fines.
Módulo II. Movimientos Sociales (de 81 m²)
Se exhiben imágenes de gran importancia histórica, como escenas de la Revolución mexicana, así como de diversas manifestaciones sociales. Algunas imágenes fueron tomadas con la intención expresa de documentar un momento, otras, en cambio, se han convertido en testimonio del siglo XX y XXI.
Módulo III. Vida Cotidiana (de 50 m²)
La cotidianidad caracteriza una época o lugar, genera tradiciones y costumbres que quedan registradas a través de las fotografías. En este módulo se hallan diversas imágenes que retratan las actividades diarias y el entorno en México.
Módulo IV. Paisaje (de 43 m²)
La fotografía de paisaje capta la presencia de la naturaleza, pero también pueden centrarse en las características o trastornos de paisajes alterados o artificiales. Muchas fotografías de paisajes muestran poca o nula actividad humana, en la búsqueda de una representación que permita mostrar no solo vistas de la naturaleza, sino también entornos rurales o urbanos, incluso, zonas industriales.
Módulo V. Experimentación (de 57 m²)
Este módulo reúne diversas imágenes que son resultado de experimentaciones ideadas para reinterpretar un espacio, momento, personaje, objeto, o algo más, para ofrecer una propuesta autoral novedosa.
