Cuenta con 13 salas permanentes
Como un homenaje a un hombre que dedicó su vida a la radiodifusión mexicana, se encuentra la sala consagrada de don Pedro L. Díaz Pit, quien vivió de 1907 a 1990 y fundó, el 1 de julio de 1937, la XEFQ-980 AM La voz de la ciudad del cobre. La sala está diseñada reproduciendo el teatro-estudio Eduardo C. Gulliver y en sus paredes se muestran fotografías de los artistas más famosos de la época, así como diversos comentarios de la vida y la obra de Pedro L. Díaz.
También se encuentra una sala dedicada al gran político sonorense Lic. Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta, en sus paredes se muestran fotografías de las visitas realizadas a este mineral, así como su semblanza.
El patio interior se utiliza en distintas ocasiones para presentar grupos artísticos, obras de teatro, exposiciones, etc.
