Cuenta con tres salas de exposición permanente:
Sala 1 (de 650 m²)
Se hace referencia a los primeros pobladores de la región y sus procesos de caza-recolección. Entre los principales objetos de esta sala, resaltan fósiles de mamíferos grandes, una representación de los primeros destiladores de aguardiente de sotol, una maqueta de la zona arqueológica de Paquimé en su etapa de florecimiento, cerámica de la cultura Casas Grandes, solo por mencionar algunos.
Sala 2 (de 247 m²)
Se abordan las actividades cotidianas de la cultura Paquimé, tales como la elaboración de cerámica, joyería con concha y caracol, el trabajo en piedra, y se muestran murales pictóricos de la relación con otros pueblos, incluso del Pacífico.
Sala 3 (de 87 m²)
Se exponen diferentes prácticas ceremoniales, por ejemplo, la elaboración de fetiches y amuletos, elementos utilizados por chamanes y curanderos, así como instrumentos musicales como tambores, raspadores y aerófonos. De manera pictórica, se hace referencia a la caída de Paquimé, en 1450 d.C., hasta la fundación de San Antonio de Padua, lo que hoy conocemos como Casas Grandes. Finalmente, se muestran objetos concernientes a la época de la revolución en el norte de Chihuahua y a la batalla de Casas Grandes en 1911.
