The museum has a floor and is divided into 6 permanent exhibition rooms: Sala de historia de 40.88 m²: Texts about the origin of Cosalå, first inhabitants and life and death of Heraclio Bernal. Sala de Heraclio Bernal de 35.74 m²: In this room weapons from the revolutionary era, pre-Hispanic objects, paintings and photographs of the mining settlements. Sala de los Laureanos de 20.39 m²: Paintings and mining tools. Sala de minerales de 16.49 m²: This room displays stones with traces of various minerals. Sala Luis PÊrez Meza de 18.09 m²: Here you can find the most important awards that Don Luis PÊrez Meza received, his original clothing, films and music of the cosalteco cantautor. Sala de paleontología de 18.78 m²: Mainly mammoth remains are exhibited.
