The site houses four permanent exhibition rooms displaying an archive composed of archaeological objects, mainly ceramics, lithics, bone, stucco and mural fragments, as well as clay works and representations of deities linked to the death cult and architectural elements of Cempoala. As part of the permanent exhibit, it shows the formation of the local identity of the pre-Hispanic inhabitants of Cempoala and provides an overview of the region's ecological diversity at that time, such as flora and fauna, and how these were represented by artisans.
