Through the ceramics found, the chronicle of Cholula's pre-Hispanic cultural development is presented: Sala uno contains the site archaeological model and topics such as the history of explorations, Cholula archaeology (chronology), ceramics, the construction system and the Patio de Los Altares; Sala dos covers the Early Postclassic (800–900 CE), the Early-Middle Postclassic (900–1521 CE), funerary customs and contact with the Spaniards; Sala tres presents reproductions of Cholula's mural painting and archaeological objects referenced in the murals.
