Como parte de las excavaciones en la zona, se exhiben los primeros vestigios cerámicos, algunos con fuertes rasgos locales y otros con influencia mexica y teotihuacana.
Los espacios rituales y las deidades estuvieron presentes en esta cultura, que presumiblemente practicó ceremonias de sacrificios humanos, con base en el Xipe Tótec que fue encontrado semidestruido en un basamento del sitio, así como en la piedra llamada Temalácatl, usada por la cultura mexica como piedra de sacrificios.
