With ancient pyramids rising among jungle palms, Museo de Sitio de Comalcalco invites US travelers to step into Tabasco's archaeological heart and trace Maya and Olmec ingenuity at a quiet, open-air site.

Cuenta con dos salas de exposiciones permanentes:
Sala 1 (de 380 m²)
Por medio de esta sala se ingresa al museo, y en ella se muestra una exhibición arqueológica, a través de la cual es posible conocer la manera en que los habitantes de la antigua Joy Chan vestían, comían y practicaban el comercio.
Sala 2 (de 470 m²)
En esta sala se exhiben, además de piezas arqueológicas, como varias impresionantes vasijas y entierros correspondientes a Comalcalco, piezas etnográficas y fotografías, las cuales hacen referencia a la región conocida como la Chontalpa, en la cual se encuentra inserta Comalcalco.
