Seven rooms of permanent exhibitions: 1 Noreste ContemporÔneo; 2 Integración Funcional del Noreste; 3 Conformación de la Frontera; 4 Forja Republicana; 5 Crisol Colonial del Noreste; 6 Virreinato Formativo; 7 El Antiguo Noreste. It also features an auditorium, cafeteria, underground parking with two levels and spaces for offices and warehouses. A bridge over Paseo Santa Lucía connects it with the Museo de Historia Mexicana.
