The building is divided into two floors: The ground floor comprised of: Vestíbulo, Pasillo, Sala I, Sala II, Sala III and Sala IV. It also includes a classroom replica, with pieces from the early 20th century, and a display case with laboratory objects and a teacher's diploma dating from 1888. The upper floor houses Salas V, VI and VII, as well as a vestibule and a hallway with plaques. This area also features two display cases with pieces from the collection of the Benemérita Escuela Normal de Coahuila; interesting games and interactive items such as a Pepper Ghost by Don Apolonio M. Avilés and its legend as well as a Discovery Room for kids and adults. The facilities also include a large and well-equipped gallery for temporary exhibitions, which also serves for conferences, book presentations and other events, climate-controlled, with projector and screen.
