En el primer piso dedicado a la sala de exposición permanente, se muestra paso a paso el proceso de elaboración del tequila y el mezcal, así como las herramientas que se utilizan. Se puede observar la jima del maguey, el horneado o cocción, la molienda y la fermentación. Los dos últimos pasos son la destilación y el envasado de las bebidas en recipientes de vidrio. El recinto museístico cuenta con una vitrina, en donde se exhiben unas 300 botellas de distintos tipos de mezcal y tequila.
 En el segundo piso concluye la visita del museo, donde se dan degustaciones de tequila y mezcal en el restaurante bar, el cual también ofrece comida mexicana.
En la planta baja se encuentra la tienda, en donde los visitantes pueden adquirir cualquiera de estas bebidas además de productos derivados del agave. También se encuentran un conjunto de plataformas interactivas en las que los visitantes pueden crear postales virtuales y ofrecer vía correo electrónico una serenata personalizada o imprimir una etiqueta personalizada para su botella de tequila.
