Features nine permanent exhibition rooms: Sala 1 of 7.84 m²: Reception and replicas of chairs designed by Salvador DalĂ; Sala 2 of 13.44 m²: Introductory video. Section 1 PanorĂĄmica del InglĂŠs presented to the wealthy James family and to their son Edward, who since childhood imagined an ideal land named Seclusia; Sala 3 of 32.7 m²: Postcards and notes from Edward James, photographs of his family surroundings; Books written by Edward James, who authored more than 20 books, including the novel The Gardener Who Saw God; Sala 4 of 17.69 m²: Section 2 Mecenas del arte â Photographs of the artists supported by James, such as Leonora Carrington, Salvador DalĂ, RenĂŠ Magritte and Pavel Tchelitchew; Sala 5 of 53.8 m²: Photographs of artists supported by James; Replica of the Mae West Lips Sofa by Salvador DalĂ; Oil painting by James with help from Leonora Carrington; Sala 6 of 7.98 m²: Section 3 El tĂo Jame, photographs of James and the GastĂŠlum family, his adoptive family in Xilitla; Sala 7 of 14 m²: Section 4 Constructor de sueĂąos explores the construction of the sculptural garden in Xilitla through photographs, drawings by James and molds used in manufacturing the structures; Sala 8 of 11.06 m²: Clothes and personal belongings of Edward James; Sala 9 of 21.73 m²: Postcards sent by James during his final years to his friends; Sofa owned by him.
