Este museo cuenta con nueve salas interactivas: Una de ellas tiene una línea de tiempo donde sus días se mezclan con acontecimientos históricos en México.
Otra sala se expone la relación amorosa con Diego Rivera por medio de facsimiles de las cartas que ella le enviaba.
Otra sala es dedicada a reproducciones de cajas de luz que sirven de luminosos testigos de su obra.
La siguiente sala expone anécdotas de su vida íntima, se exhiben vestidos, miniaturas y un interactivo digital.
En otra sala se encuentra una ofrenda y una remembranza del último cuadro que firmó en 1954.
