El museo exhibe una sala con botellas de tequila de las diferentes marcas que se producen en las fabricas de tequila que existen en el municipio, cuenta con una recreación de un horno de mampostería para la cocción del agave, un diagrama ilustrado que muestra el proceso de elaboración del vino mezcal que se producía en las antiguas tabernas, replicas de piezas arqueológicas, una maqueta que muestra con miniaturas el antiguo proceso de elaboración del vino mezcal, fotografías y cédulas textuales, barricas y damajuanas, y un facsímil de la declaratoria que otorgó la UNESCO sobre el nombramiento del paisaje agavero como patrimonio cultural de la humanidad.
