El recorrido comienza por la izquierda. Desde allí se asoma un stegosaurus animatrónico con sonido y movimiento. Esta especie vivió a finales del período jurásico hace 156 millones de años y se distingue fácilmente por las placas en su lomo. Al lado está el triceratops un poco más grande.
A la mitad de la sala hay una maqueta enorme que representa un típico paisaje jurásico. No todos los dinosaurios que aparecen ahí vivieron en el mismo periodo; el Tiranosaurio rex, por ejemplo, apareció en el cretácico hace 68 millones de años, a diferencia del brontosaurus o el stegosaurus, que sí vivieron en el jurásico. Aún así, el museo cumple su función principal: entretener a los niños y adultos que lo visitan.
Afuera del museo también tienen dinosaurios enormes —miden casi 20 metros cada uno. Son reproducciones en concreto de un brontosaurus, un diplodocus y un quetzalcoatlus, el dinosaurio volador más grande que existió —medía lo mismo que una jirafa— y recibe su nombre del dios Quetzalcoatl. Allí mismo hay un arenero en donde los niños pueden jugar al paleontólogo.
