La primera sala a visitar es la de exposiciones temporales de la agrupación taurina Tendido Tapia, donde se exhiben fotos, carteles y un sin número de recuerdos de la fiesta brava, incluida una foto de Cantinflas en la Plaza de Toros Mérida.
La sala dos es dedicada al arte sacro.
La sala tres llamada Juan Manuel Chan Alvarado, en honor a un pintor yucateco ya fallecido
es la pinacoteca, donde presenta exposiciones temporales.
La sala cuatro exhibe objetos como cascos de botellas de Soldado de chocolate de diferentes épocas, de Sidra Pino de 1857 cuando vendía agua mineral, las botellas blancas de la Cervecería Yucateca; en general el museo cuenta con más de 200 botellas diferentes y más de 500 vasos de casi todas las cervezas mexicanas y del extranjero.
La sala cinco es dedicada a la cultura maya y la Guerra de Castas.
