El MMAC cuenta con seis espacios expositivos denominados Galería Principal, el Cubo, el Museo Sonoro, Espacio Inmersivo, T1 y T2, así como una zona de talleres para los programas públicos, una biblioteca y un jardín escultórico. Las salas de exposición se transforman constantemente para dar cabida a todas las propuestas museográficas, según los requierimientos de cada exhibición.
Cuenta con dos salas grandes, una de 800 metros y otra de 400; seis salas más pequeñas diseñadas para realizar presentaciones de libros, conferencias o exposiciones.
