En el sitio 1 Saguan principal. Se encuentra a la vista
el escudo del Capitán Urdiñola una de las familias más antiguas de México así como el escudo del marquesado Marques de Aguayo.
En el sitio 2 se encuentra la Sala Antonio Bernal Ríos, donde se exhibe parte de la fábrica de aguas gaseosas La Esperanza, con algunas piezas que se utilizaron en la embotelladora.
La Sala Leonor López de Lois, en el sitio 3, cuenta con una cocina antigua con dobles chimeneas, que se utilizaron para usos domésticos de cocina de los españoles; ahí se guardan algunos metates antiguos de hace 500 años, así como molcajetes con mil años de antigüedad.
En el sitio 4 se ubica la Sala para Descansar los Caballos de los Españoles a su Llegada de Viajes Largos.
En el 5 están los sanitarios que utilizaban quienes habitaban en la Casa del Marqués.
En el 6 se alberga la oficina de la Crónica Municipal, donde elaboran trabajos del Museo y del Acervo Histórico.
En el sitio 7 se encuentra la puerta, zaguán que conduce a la calle Cuauhtémoc, al lado norte de la casa; ahí se muestra una sala de documentos antiguos, así como la planta municipal que alumbrara la población.
La sala del sitio 8 se contiene la mayor parte de la historia de Mazapil
En el 9 hay la silueta o símbolo de la evangelización y religión que se profesa
En el 10 hay un puesto de vigilancia o divisador, donde se checaban las acechanzas de los naturales con su ventanilla de información.
En el sitio 11 está la Sala Jesús Nazareno, cuya imagen también se involucra con la historia de Mazapil, pues fue y es abogado de los pobladores de esta localidad; aquí se guardan documentos de aproximadamente 200 años de antiguedad.
En el sitio 12 se encuentra la Sala Capitán Francisco de Urdiñola, donde se resguardan documentos de la época de la Colonia, Presidencia, Revolución, Registro Cívil y Justicia.
La Sala de los Alcaldes Mayores, en el sitio 13, guarda objetos antiguos, y fue donde habitaban los ediles, quienes giraban órdenes a la tropa española.
En el sitio 14 se encuentra la Sala del Profesor Lázaro Escobedo Girón, quien fuera el Director de la Banda.
En la Sala 15, la Sala Buenaventura de Paz, indio tlaxtalteca que comandó a los indígenas en la conquista del norte de la Nueva España.
