En la sala 1, a manera de introducción, se encuentran algunos reconocimientos que han recibido destacados pirotécnicos de Tultepec, así como información sobre la historia de la pólvora y su expansión por el mundo.
En la sala 2, se retoma la relación de la actividad pirotécnica con las fiestas patronales y específicamente la relación que existe con San Juan de Dios, como Patrono de los Pirotécnicos, en Tultepec.
En la sala 3, se puede observar las herramientas y elementos que eran empleados en la elaboración de los fuegos artificiales, así como datos históricos de como se desarrolla la actividad pirotécnica en Tultepec.
