<p>Orientation Room: An explanatory area covering the antecedentes of Casa de Moneda de México, from its founding to the present period, with a brief description of the surroundings. Monumental model.</p><br><p>Foundry Hall: Space housing the ancient foundry furnaces used from 1850 to 1992. Originally built as a foundry area for the Apartado General of the Nation; the design and execution of the work were by Manuel Tolsá.</p><br><p>Coining Hall: Factory space housing machinery from English, French and North American origins from the early 19th century as well as machinery developed by Mexican workers, which together allow some of the coin and medal production processes to be shown in operation.</p><br><p>Numismatic Gallery: The collection of coins and medals of the Casa de Moneda de México is safeguarded, as well as its tooling. The exhibition provides a chronological journey through the minting stages in our country, from the first hammer-struck coins to the current decimal currency.</p><br><p>National Shield Room: The models of the national shield that have appeared on the obverse of contemporary legal tender coins are safeguarded.</p><br><p>Site Museum: A tribute room to the workers of the Casa de Moneda de México and the environment that housed it for nearly 200 years.</p><br><p>Apartado Hall: This area is the oldest part of the building; it functioned as a glass factory for the Apartado General de la Nación and now serves as an auditorium.</p><br><p>Cincinnati Room: Named after the monumental machinery once used in the factory and now central to the space; the area hosts temporary exhibitions about the process of creating and producing commemorative medals by the Casa de Moneda de México.</p>
