Nestled in downtown Durango, the Museo Regional de Durango Ángel Rodríguez Solórzano invites you to discover the region’s layered history through artifacts and stories that bring Durango’s past to life.

Cuenta con salas permanentes con 1500 piezas en exhibición, en bodega se encuentran 5,000 piezas aproximadamente, formando 30 colecciones, como: Arte Pictórico, Arqueológico, Etnográfico, de la Colonia, Archivo Histórico, Biblioteca, Fototeca y un edificio propio del siglo XIX, único en su arquitectura.
Cada sala, vitrinas y piezas van acompañadas de cédulas científicas que en el lenguaje sencillo generan, complementan y refuerzan la conciencia histórica de la comunidad, puesto que el Museo busca la concientización, para la preservación, rescate y difusión del patrimonio cultural.
Cuenta con 15 salas de exposiciones permanentes:

Sala de Arqueología I: 50 m2.
Sala de Arqueología II: 50 m2
Sala del Contacto Hispano-Indigena: 16 m2.
