Introductoria Se ofrece un panorama general de la historia del estado. Arqueología Se exhiben objetos de la región, como vasijas, ollas, puntas de proyectil, hachas, malacates, raspadores, huilanches (parecidos a los metates) y figurillas de barro que dan una idea del desarrollo cultural de los grupos prehispánicos. Capilla De la época novohispana, se muestran las capillas domésticas, las cuales formaban parte de la disposición arquitectónica de las casas. Barroco Se aborda este tema a partir de una colección de pintura novohispana de los siglos XVII y XVIII. Siglo XIX En esta sala se ahonda en uno de los siglos más convulsos en la historia de México.
