En sus nueve salas permanentes exhibe numerosas e importantes piezas, entre las que destacan miniaturas de diversos tipos de barro (canelo, betús, petatillo, bruñido, bandera y engretado), cerámica antigua y contemporánea de varias regiones de Jalisco, vidrio soplado, una cocina completa del siglo XIX, la colección del pintor y artesano tlaquepaquense Roberto Montenegro y piezas ganadoras del Premio Nacional de la Cerámica. También se exhiben trabajos de artesanos destacados, como lo son: Candelario Medrano, Salvador Vázquez, Rodo Padilla, Juan Campechano, Margarito Núñez, Jesús y Ángel Carranza, Kent Edward, Jorge Wilmot, familia Jimón, familia Bernabé, familia Pajarito, Familia Panduro, entre otros.
