La sala 1. Paleontología y Arqueológica
En esta sala se muestra la historia de ocupación antigua desde las poblaciones de fauna prehistórica hasta el proceso de asentamientos humanos del periodo preclásico, clásico y posclásico. En esta sala se pueden apreciar restos fósiles, esculturas labradas en roca, vasijas de barro y restos óseos humanos y animales.
Las piezas de la colección paleontológica del museo están dotadas desde la época prehistórica con especies de caracoles y mamuts que corresponde al Pleistoceno.
