33 permanent exhibition rooms: Ground floor, three rooms including Sala de medicina, which houses medical instruments, a mummy, mummified bodies, and university diplomas; Sala sin nombre displaying a nineteenth-century miniature chapel; Sala del mueble showing wooden furniture from the twentieth century. First floor contains 14 rooms such as Sala Francisco Xavier Clavijero with paintings and a timeline; Sala Adalberto Luyando with paintings; Sala Francisco Javier Alegre with wood carving, painting, a model of the Carlino building, and antique chairs; Sala Carlos de Sigüenza y Góngora presenting the house's history; Sala Agustín Pablo de Castro exhibiting scientific instruments; Sala Francisco Montiel Llaguno featuring musical instruments; Sala Rafael Landívar with scientific instruments; Sala Rafael Rodríguez with scientific instruments; Sala Oscar Acevo Pérez with scientific instruments; Sala 17 with scientific instruments; Sala 18 with scientific instruments; Sala de animales disecados hosting mounted animals such as birds; Sala Diego José Abad with scientific instruments; Sala Herminia Franco with mammoth bones, mounted birds, and models. Second floor contains 16 rooms unnamed but housing paintings from the 17th to 21st centuries, arranged chronologically, including works by artists such as Juan Tinoco, Gaspar Conrado, Diego de Borgraf, José Juárez, Miguel Cabrera, José Luis Rodríguez Alconedo, Agustín Arrieta; and contemporary artists such as Rufino Tamayo, Salvador Dalí, Fanny Rabel. Number of works on display: more than two hundred scientific instruments and around 110 paintings.
