La colección del maestro Fastlicht, donada por su hijo Jorge, también dentista y maestro, incluye valiosas piezas de todas las etapas de la odontología mexicana: piezas arqueológicas de las culturas mesoamericanas, cráneos con piezas dentales que muestran incrustaciones de diversas piedras: turquesa, hematina, concha nácar y jade. Artefactos utilizados por los barberos sacamuelas de la época virreinal, instrumentos empleados por los dentistas franceses y norteamericanos que llegaron a principio del siglo XIX y gran cantidad de piezas como: balanzas, coronas de oro, articuladores, prótesis dentales, cepillos de dientes, fórceps, jeringas, aparatos de laboratorio, medicamentos y muchas cosas más, usadas por los dentistas de siglo XIX y la primera mitad del XX. La donación incluyó también las publicaciones del maestro Fastlicht.
A esta colección base, se sumaron gran cantidad de piezas más: sillones dentales, equipos de rayos X, fotografías, muebles, vitrinas, instrumental y diversas piezas pequeñas donadas por diferentes coleccionistas, dentistas todos ellos, que a lo largo de su vida habían ido adquiriendo objetos antiguos, ya sea por herencia de algún familiar dedicado a esta profesión, o bien fueron comprados en bazares de antigüedades.
