Permanent Collections
This museum tells the story of the musical phenomena that occurred in Fresnillo during the 20th century, from the consolidation of the Sindicato de Filarmónicos Sección 39 ALFONSO ESPARAZA OTEO, as we find historical documents that testify to its legal constitution, as well as some photographic moments of its various activities; it also provides a concise view of the History of Popular and Traditional Music of our town. The collection presented here enables a brief chronological journey through the different moments and musical styles that, in each era, signified the musical culture of Fresnillo residents. For example, we will find: Typical Orchestras that have remained active since the early 20th century; Symphonic Bands, a tradition of almost a century and a half; Orchestra and Sonora Music from the mid-20th century to our time; Mariachi music with different groups and members; Trios and Quartets of romantic music par excellence; Norteño Music, with some of Fresnillo's most renowned representatives; Banda Estilo Sinaloense, with musicians who accompany several renowned artists; Versatile Music Ensembles that gave international representation to our region; Some Performers and Soloists, notable for their voices and instruments; and of course a small range of Musical Instruments that clearly show the harmonic progression of the years.
