Sala 1: Muestra los primeros años de vida del poeta hasta sus 13 años
Sala 2: Describe su paso por Jacona y Zamora en Michoacán, su regreso a Tepic y su incursión en las letras, así como el tiempo que vivió en Mazatlán y su colaboración para el periódico el correo de la tarde
Sala 3: Muestra su afición por la Astronomía, su residencia en México y su interacción con escritores y artistas de la época, su colaboración con diversos periódicos y revistas de corte literario y su primera estancia en Europa, donde conoce al escritor uruguayo Rubén Darío y a Ana Cecilia Daillez, quien posteriormente se convirtió en su pareja sentimental
Sala 4: Continúa con la narración de su vida, esta vez en España, la pérdida de su madre y su pareja, momento en el que escribe La Amada Inmóvil, pasajes de su vida diplomática y su encomienda como Ministro Plenipotenciario en Argentina y Uruguay, donde muere el 24 de mayo de 1919
