Sala 1 El contexto local de Juan Escutia: Se recrea el ambiente familiar y social en el que transcurrió la infancia y juventud de Juan Escutia en Tepic.
Sala 2 La Construcción del compromiso: Se explican las condiciones políticas en las que transcurrió la vida de Juan Escutia y que lo llevaron a tomar la decisión de partir hacia el H. Colegio Militar. En particular, se le da relevancia a la participación de esta región en el contexto de la resistencia general del país a la intervención de Estados Unidos. Paralelamente, se documenta la determinación de Juan Escutia en participar en la defensa del país con la consecuente perdida de su vida.
