New rooms opened include: Sala de biodiversidad; In this room you can find information about biodiversity and knowledge, emphasizing Chiapas; It also contains information about traditional costumes, colors, flavors, and languages, as well as the cultures that formed after the Maya. The Sala de energĂas explains energy as a driving force for change and how energy is applied and used by humans since the beginning. It is said that the first knowledge discovered was fire, and thanks to that there have been many changes that have transformed into other things. The Sala de desarrollo sustentable provides an in-depth analysis of the biodiversity wealth of the state and the world, as well as the ways humans have exploited these resources and the effects of misuse. It aims to raise awareness about the impossibility of reversing the changes humans have generated on the planet, and how to mitigate damage such as global warming, deforestation, excessive logging, and resource scarcity like water. It includes a space for 3D film projections to learn about topics such as the universe, the Solar System, life on Earth, among others.
