This museum features two courtyards, the Patio de Profesas and the Patio de Novicias, plus 23 permanent exhibition rooms divided into thematic rooms and site rooms. On the ground floor are: Sala Introductoria, La Virreinal Puebla de los Ángeles, Vida Cotidiana, Placeres (sala de sitio), Cocina y Despensa, Refectorio, Sala Capitular, Biblioteca, Antecoro Bajo, Coro Bajo. On the upper floor, the rooms are: Coro Alto, Antecoro Alto, Vida de San Agustín, Celda, Relicarios, Dechados, Pasajes hagiográficos, Alegorías y Patrocinios, Despacho de la Priora, Terciopelos de Rafael Morante, Sala Mariana, Monjas Coronada, Místicas
