Sala 4: Collections of the old Michoacano Museum; displays the collections of naturalists Nicolás León and Manuel Martínez Solórzano, after whom the museum is named. Sala 5: Mammals of the World contains various specimens donated by the Morelia Zoo and displayed to highlight environmental protection and biodiversity. Sala 6: Fossils: Traces of Time featuring remains of the Michoacán Mammoth found 31 years ago by researchers from the Universidad Michoacana and donated to the museum's foundation. Permanent garden in Jardín Sáurika. Guarida de Dinosaurios features sculptures and information boards about the dinosaurs that lived on our planet, their diet, distribution in Mexico and Michoacán and their extinction. Permanent exhibition in Jardín Plantas Suculentas: Exhibition of plants typical of the region. Permanent exhibition in Jardín Aves del Bosque: Graphic description of the main species of birds in the Cuauhtémoc Forest.
