Cuenta con seis salas de exhibición permanentes:
Capilla Fuerte de Loreto (de 72.55 m²)
Dedicada a la Virgen de Loreto. Se exhibe la cronología y algunos cuadros referentes a la virgen de Loreto, como parte de la identidad religiosa de la época.
Arquitectura Militar (de 33.75 m²)
Se muestra la indumentaria del ejército durante la lucha por la Independencia, además de algunas armas y los planos de los fuertes de Loreto y de Guadalupe.
La Reforma (de 58.63 m²)
En esta sala se exponen algunos de los acontecimientos que dieron origen de la guerra de Reforma.
Sala 1 (de 25.20 m²) y Sala 2 (de 62.16 m²)
Ambas salas están dedicadas a la intervención francesa, uno de los acontecimientos más importantes del estado y del país.
