Se encuentra divida en tres secciones. En su primera sala se exhibe un escudo nacional, el mismo que se empezĂł a utilizar en las monedas de 1823; una litografĂa de la batalla más importante de los insurgentes: la batalla del Monte de las Cruces; pantallas con imágenes de la vida cotidiana y pasajes de la Ă©poca de la Independencia, asĂ como un mapa que muestra cĂłmo estaba conformada la Nueva España. Otras pantallas ofrecen al pĂşblico informaciĂłn sobre las campañas de don Miguel Hidalgo, las biografĂas de los principales caudillos de la Independencia y clasificaciĂłn de las armas.
