Maderas de Chiapas
Es la principal exposición y la más antigua, ya que con ella se inauguró el museo en 1951. Por esta colección el Museo Botánico fue conocido un tiempo como El museo de las maderas. En ella se exhiben 46 especies maderables, con troncos de un metro de alto y cortes tangenciales.
El árbol
Esta exposición destaca el elemento más importante de cualquier ecosistema terrestre y una de las formas de vida más impresionantes y majestuosas que existen sobre la tierra, además de ser una de las más longevas.
Plantas medicinales
Una muestra interesante del uso de las plantas en la medicina tradicional y de cómo el hombre ha sabido utilizar este conocimiento de generación en generación para curar enfermedades de distinta Ãndole.
Flores de Chiapas
