Manuel Tolsá Museum is organized around five major thematic cores connected by an interactive timeline that places visitors in history. Two rooms are devoted to the creation and development of El Caballito, which experts consider one of the five most beautiful equestrian sculptures in the world. Another space focuses on the architectural and civil works of the Palacio de Minería, enriched with portraits of various figures, including Tolsá. Visitors can learn that the construction of the Palacio de Minería took 16 years, 1797–1813, and that this renowned architect also oversaw one of Guadalajara's most emblematic buildings, the Hospicio Cabañas.
