El MUNAL cuenta con una exposiciĂłn permanente titulada Recorrido HistĂłrico ArtĂstico, compuesta por 33 salas dispuestas de manera cronolĂłgica, desde el siglo XVI hasta mediados del XX. Los objetos en exhibiciĂłn se distribuyen en tres secciones: “1550-1821. AsimilaciĂłn de Occidente” (salas 1-14); “1810-1910. ConstrucciĂłn de una naciĂłn” (salas 15-26); y “1910-1955. Estrategias plásticas para un MĂ©xico moderno” (salas 27-33). Adicionalmente, el pĂşblico puede recorrer las seis salas especiales: exposiciones temporales; monotemáticas; colecciones especiales; orientaciĂłn; ciclos primavera-verano y otoño-invierno, y gabinetes de estampa y fotografĂa.
