In its permanent galleries it features a collection of Huichol embroidery, contemporary Huichol art (a mural consisting of 80 pieces with more than two million beads), colonial wrought-iron hardware from the 17th to 19th centuries, popular religious retablos from the 19th century, numerous crafts, and a photographic series about the Huichol people made in the 1940s by Juan Víctor Arauz.
